Partner Program Policy

> Share Backtestfx with other traders and earn on every subscription they pay — not just the first. This document covers exactly how the program works, how you get paid, and the rules that keep it fair for everyone.

Who Can Join

Every Backtestfx account is automatically enrolled in the Partner Program. Your referral code and shareable link are available on your Profile page under Referrals & Earnings the moment your account is created.

You do not need an active subscription to earn — free users can refer paying users and collect commissions. You must, however, have a verified email and a Backtestfx account in good standing.

We cannot enroll accounts from jurisdictions where affiliate programs are legally restricted. If your country appears in that list at signup, we'll let you know.

How It Works

1. Grab your link. Your Profile page shows your referral code and a one-click shareable link (e.g., backtestfx.com/auth/signup?rf_id=YOUR_CODE).
2. Share it. Post it on trading forums, YouTube descriptions, your blog, your Discord — wherever other traders might find it useful. See What's Not Allowed for the few places you can't.
3. They sign up through your link. When someone creates an account using your referral link, they're permanently attributed to you.
4. They subscribe. The moment they pay for any Backtestfx subscription (Basic, Pro, or Advanced), you earn a commission on that payment.
5. They keep subscribing. Every time they renew, upgrade, or pay for a longer billing cycle, you earn again. There is no point where you stop earning on their activity.
6. You withdraw. Once your balance hits the minimum threshold, cash out in USD.

Commission Structure

You earn a commission on every subscription payment your referrals make, forever, as long as they remain subscribed. Your rate is 10%–35%, depending on your current or projected referral volume.

This includes:

• First-time purchases on any plan
• Renewals on weekly, monthly, or yearly billing cycles
• Upgrades (e.g., Basic → Pro) — you earn on the full upgraded amount going forward
• Region-adjusted pricing — if your referral is in a cheap-region market and pays a reduced rate, you earn a commission on what they actually paid

Earnings are credited to your account as points. The exact point-to-USD conversion rate is set per account — check your Profile page under Referrals & Earnings to see your current balance, point rate, and USD equivalent.

Refunded payments are clawed back — if Backtestfx issues a refund to your referral, the corresponding commission is reversed on your balance.

How Referrals Are Tracked

Attribution happens at signup via your referral link. When a user clicks your link, we set a browser cookie and attach your referral code to their eventual signup. The attribution window is 60 days — if they sign up within that window, you get credit.

A user can only ever be attributed to one partner. If someone clicks your link first and then a different partner's link later, first-click wins. If they create an account without using any referral link, they cannot be retroactively attributed.

Self-referrals — creating a second account and referring yourself — are not allowed and will void any resulting commissions (see What's Not Allowed).

Payouts & Withdrawals

Withdrawals are requested from your Profile page using the Withdraw button under Referrals & Earnings. Commissions become withdrawable once the referred payment clears the provider's refund window (typically 7 days after the payment).

There is no expiry on earned commissions. Your balance sits in your account indefinitely — we will not sweep, void, or expire it.

What's Not Allowed

We want the program to grow long-term, which means keeping it clean. These activities void your commissions and may get you removed from the program:

• Self-referrals. Creating a second account to refer yourself, or referring a family member who uses your payment method.
• Incentivized signups that breach our terms. You can tell people why Backtestfx is worth it. You can't pay them to subscribe, offer cashback schemes that refund our subscription cost, or otherwise manufacture "users" who don't actually want the product.
• Spam. Mass-posting your link in unrelated forums, Discord servers, Telegram groups, or comment sections where affiliate links aren't welcome. Platform-ToS violations (e.g., spamming YouTube comments) are also not allowed.
• Misrepresentation. Claiming to be affiliated with Backtestfx staff, claiming features the product does not have, making investment guarantees ("backtest once and you'll be profitable"), or impersonating team members.
• Brand bidding / trademark abuse. Bidding on "Backtestfx" or similar branded terms on Google Ads, or registering domains containing our brand name, is not allowed.
• Fraudulent payments. Commissions earned from stolen cards, chargeback-abuse, or subscriptions that are later reversed are clawed back automatically.

We investigate flagged accounts manually. If we void commissions, we'll let you know why.

Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes owed on your partner earnings in your country of residence. Backtestfx does not withhold taxes and does not issue tax forms automatically. If you earn above your country's reportable threshold, keep your own records.

If your jurisdiction requires us to issue a tax form (e.g., US 1099-NEC above $600 annually for US-based partners), contact us from your registered email and we'll coordinate.

Changes to the Program

We may adjust the commission rate, payout minimum, cookie duration, or other mechanics as the business grows. When we do:

• Changes take effect 1 day after we announce them via email and this page's "Last updated" date.
• Already-earned commissions are never retroactively reduced. If you earned $100 under the old rate, it stays $100.
• Future commissions are paid under the new rate starting on the effective date.

Account Termination

You can leave the program at any time by deleting your Backtestfx account. Your existing balance must be withdrawn before account deletion — unwithdrawn balances are forfeit.

We may terminate your program enrollment if you violate these terms. In that case, you'll receive a final accounting email covering any legitimately-earned commissions we owe, minus any voided amounts.
